EPC Tag Data Standard (TDS)

 

This standard defines  EPC tag data, including how key GS1 key identifiers are encoded on the tag and how they are encoded for use in the information systems layers of the EPC Systems Network. Version 1.5 further defines Tag Identification including the XTID header as well as the EPCglobal User Memory Bank which provides a variable size memory to store additional data attributes such as those defined by the GS1 Application Identifiers and related to the object identified in the EPC Memory Bank of the tag.
